I love to bring my camera with me wherever I go to give me a chance to really admire the beauty around me.  Watching the snowy egrets, great egrets, and great blue herons walk around the shallow waters stalking their prey is both fascinating and incredible to watch.
 
I found this gorgeous and unique agate on Malibu Beach, Caifornia, cut it, hand polished it, and found it perfect for this snowy egret statement necklace.
I hand sawed the snowy egret and cat tail foliage out of sterling silver and hand engraved them to add detail to this beautiful scene.
