While hiking one afternoon, I came across a huge oak tree that was just gorgeous.   As it started to rain, I gathered a few of its leaves that had fallen on the ground below and brought them home to make into pieces of artwork that would make their beauty last forever.  The way the drops looked on the surfaces of the dried leaves on the ground was a photo that lasted in my mind and I had to recreate it into this necklace.
 
I found this gorgeous agate while hiking thru the canyons of Mojave Desert, CA, cut it, hand polished it, and knew it would be the perfect accent to these beautiful oak leaves.
